ASUC Senator Alyssa Liu

ASUC Senator Alyssa Liu is a third year Legal Studies and Political Economy double major concentrating in international human rights and international inequality through development. Straight from Houston, Texas, she has seen her city massively expand as well as hide its inequality through socioeconomic segregation which got her interested in development’s effect on inequality and public policy. After entering Cal, she has spent her time in the service community as office in Cal Rotaract and member in several other philanthropy based organizations where her passion lies in international service and work in NGOs. In her free time, she enjoys watching only the finest and highest quality viral puppy videos and eating sour gummy candies.

Her platforms are related to her interests and participations in the communities she cares about:

  1. Establishing a culture of collaboration for the service community
  2. Create a commission of resources for out-of-state students
  3. Increase visibility of Tang Center resources on campus.
