SERC Grand Opening a Huge Success!

cs4

The Student Environmental Resource Center (SERC), spearheaded and created by CalSERVE Senator Nolan Pack, officially opened its doors to the Cal community today. Over 60 students turned out to learn more about the services SERC will offer, including jobs, research opportunities, internships, grant aid, collaboration across the environmental community and eventually a sustainability DeCal. Attendees were provided refreshments by the Berkeley Student Food Collective and were treated to a short talk by Kristin Hansen, Sustainability Program Manager at UC San Diego.

Feel free to stop by the SERC between 10am and 6pm Monday through Friday!
